The first garden strawberry was grown in France in the 1750s. Today, Strawberries are grown throughout the world but nowhere are they grown in quantities like they are in the United States. In 2010, the most recent year for which we have stats, 1,292,780 tons were grown in the USA. The country of Turkey was 2nd with 299,000 tons grown. Made in limited quantity batches, this "home style jam" has been a staple in our retail store for nearly 40 years. You'll be amazed at the taste of our delicious Strawberry jam. Try it!
